"I find this study fascinating, really, really important for us to begin to understand posttraumatic stress disorder and its impact to heart disease. The relationship of, you know, mental health and heart health is incredibly important, more than ever before, especially now. So I find this study novel, unique, the very first time to actually look at the effects of posttraumatic stress disorder on our female veterans. So very important, women on the front lines are having posttraumatic stress disorder, and the association with ischemic heart disease was quite, quite striking. So I find this an incredibly important study."
