MEDIA ACCESS REQUIREMENTS for ISC 2022
Please review the updated registration requirements and AHA Embargo and Recording Policies to confirm if you meet the current criteria for embargoed media access.
For in-person attendees, please read the current protocols on
Attending ISC 2022 in person or virtually and accessing embargoed media materials, including live stream embargoed news briefings, is a three-step process:
Step 1: All journalists must Register Here as a media attendee for the meeting in order to access the main event sessions in person or virtually.
- Meeting registration includes a physical badge for in-person attendees and an “electronic badge” that will provide access to the live, main event (late-breaking science) sessions virtually.
- These credentials do not provide access the embargoed, password protected newsroom (PPN) or the embargoed news briefing.
Step 2: Register for access to the ISC 2022 Password-Protected Newsroom (PPN) if you are not currently credentialed and accessing an AHA/ASA PPN.
- Access to Embargoed ISC 2022 Password-Protected Newsroom is only available via this link. https://newsroom.heart.org/international-stroke-conference-2022-embargoed-newsroom - Please do not share this link; Logins are monitored.
- The PPN includes access to the embargoed press materials and resources and the live, embargoed news briefings.
Step 3: Register to attend the live stream embargoed news briefings when the link becomes available prior to the meeting.
Note: Journalists and other media representatives who may not qualify for access to the ISC 22 password protected newsroom may access the Late Breaking Science news releases and the news briefings when they are posted on this link at embargo (to be added below).
- There will be two LBS embargoed news briefings available for both in-person and virtual media attendees.
