Roger Goodell and Nancy Brown
The American Heart Association presented its Award of Meritorious Achievement, the highest honor the organization bestows, to the National Football League. It was accepted by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell during ceremonies celebrating the founding of the American Heart Association 100 years ago on June 10, 1924. The NFL received the Association’s Award of Meritorious Achievement for the league’s recent CPR awareness outreach and support of community-based CPR training.
