LAS VEGAS, July 7, 2023 —The American Heart Association, a global force for longer, healthier lives, is delighted to announce that Alexis Mussi and Loren Mann have been named to the American Heart Association, Nevada board of directors. Both leaders began their two-year terms July 1, 2023.
Alexis Mussi is the first female chief executive officer of Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center. She came to Southern Hills Hospital in 2016 as the chief operating officer and has been responsible for more than a hundred million dollars in construction projects. Through her desire to give back, Alexis has led Southern Hills Hospital in numerous efforts to serve the Las Vegas community.
Loren Mann, MBA, MS, is a director in The BDO Center for Healthcare, Excellence & Innovation and leads West Coast Healthcare Business Development. Loren is a seasoned executive healthcare management consultant with twenty-five years of experience with top-tier management consulting firms. He has focused on clinical, financial, and operational performance improvement for large community-based hospital systems and academic medical centers.
