CHICAGO, October 25, 2022 -- The American Heart Association will celebrate the 41st annual Chicago Heart Ball at Navy Pier’s Aon Grand Ballroom on Saturday, April 29, 2023. The Heart Ball – attended by more than 800 people representing Chicago’s business, medical and philanthropic communities – is an annual gala benefiting the AHA’s life-saving mission. The event celebrates the organization’s efforts to build a foundation of health in the Chicagoland community.

The chair of this year’s event is Stephen Harris, who is president of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois. As president, Mr. Harris leads the state’s largest health insurer, which serves nearly nine million members.

“At Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, we know healthy lifestyles lead to better health outcomes,” Harris said. “Our community is celebrating the work of the American Heart Association to fight heart disease and stroke and lead the way toward a healthier future for everyone.”
