Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women in the United States, claiming more lives each year than all forms of cancer combined. Cardiovascular disease continues to be a woman’s greatest health threat, taking the life of one in every three women.
“I am chairing the Go Red for Women campaign this year because heart disease runs in my family and has significantly impacted me. I believe in the mission – to educate and support research to fight heart disease and stroke,” said Roulhac.
The 2023 South Florida Go Red for Women Luncheon is scheduled for Thursday, May 25, 2023 and is sponsored by Broward Health, CITY Furniture, Florida Power & Light Company, Pediatrix Medical Group, and Schiller Americas.
