PORTLAND, September 18, 2023 — The American Heart Association named Nima Darabi, Hoffman Construction vice president as the 2024 Heart of Oregon & SW Washington campaign chairperson. The initiative is a year-round effort aimed at investing in and saving and improving lives in Oregon and southwest Washington. The campaign culminates at the annual Heart Ball celebration on February 10, 2024.
“Nima exemplifies true leadership and commitment as a community leader and construction executive here in Oregon and southwest Washington. He’s a trusted member of this community who embraces our lifesaving mission and is a champion for the American Heart Association’s work in the region,” said Dick Clark, American Heart Association board chairman for Oregon and southwest Washington.
As a Vice President at Hoffman Construction, Nima is a proactive leader with an exemplary record of delivering some of Hoffman's most challenging projects. He has a passion for collaboration and an unwavering commitment to teamwork, making him a highly effective project leader. Beyond his professional achievements, Nima's commitment shines through his engagement with the American Heart Association.

The 2024 Heart of Oregon & SW Washington initiative raises funds to support the American Heart Association’s mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives while supporting priority issues in Oregon and southwest Washington. Nutrition security, blood pressure control, and Hands-Only CPR training have been identified as key focus areas by the American Heart Association Oregon and southwest Washington board for 2024 to propel work to support the Association’s 2024 Health Equity Impact Goal by reducing barriers to health care access and quality.
