LAS VEGAS, Nov. 1, 2022 – The Las Vegas Heart Walk is in its 31st year and back in person for 2022. This year’s Las Vegas Heart Walk will take place at Tivoli Village, 400 S Rampart Blvd., Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022, 8 a.m. to noon.

The walk is sponsored by Encompass Health, Findlay Automotive & Findlay Chevrolet, The Valley Health System, UnitedHealthcare, Brown & Brown Insurance, Kemper and Together to End Stroke sponsor Sunrise Health. iHeart Radio is the Heart Walk media sponsor.

Join the walk to become part of a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. A registrant for the Heart Walk can start a team, join a team or join as an individual.  Registration is free and participants are encouraged to raise funds.

Funds are critically needed to fight the #1 and #5 killers in the nation, heart disease and stroke. Heart Walk donations help save the lives of children born with congenital heart defects, adults struggling with heart disease and fund the next heart and stroke medical breakthroughs.

Physical and emotional health are equally important. There is no better way to boost them both than by joining the Heart Walk.  The event has a positive impact on our community and saves lives,” said Debbie Smith, executive director of the American Heart Association in Las Vegas. “The Heart Walk makes us all champions for health and well-being and also helps to ensure everyone has access to quality healthcare.”

The Heart Walk offers something for every member of the family: a kid’s zone, Miracle Mile survivor route, VIP tent and more. New at this year’s Las Vegas Heart Walk is F.A.S.T. education, sponsored by Sunrise Healthcare Supported by the HCA Healthcare Foundation, which teaches how to identify the signs of a stroke.

“The Heart Walk is a great opportunity for the entire family to learn F.A.S.T., which are the signs of a stroke,” said Mohamad Fayad, Neurologist at Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center. “Knowledge is power and with that power we can end stroke”.
